On May 11, the Mechanical Engineering Department Faculty DEI Retreat took place, at the UM Matthaei Botanical Gardens, Ann Arbor. Eleni gave a presentation about how design courses can provide students with the opportunity to learn and practice integrating equity in engineering through design projects. The retreat was a success, and lots of ideas and suggestions were shared among instructors of all areas and ranks.
