The grant was awarded following the Interstellar Initiative, in which Eleni participated last September, in New York City. The Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) sponsored the Interstellar Initiative Funding Award for further development of the proposal titled “Elucidation of aging-driven decline of cognitive and motor behaviors through an interdisciplinary approach”. Eleni is a co-PI, along with co-PI Carlotta Mummolo, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and PI Teppei Matsui, University of Tokyo School of Medicine.
